The Service covers both routine and emergency dental care with no out of pocket expenses - contact 1300 300 850 for more details. Dental Clinics are located at Ipswich and Collingwood Park.....Because of a recent experience, John Hawkins, Unit 25 advises:- BE AWARE that immediately after a Checkup/follow-up treatment or any other treatment is completed, you will be de-listed. The current attitude of the Service is to deem that on the completion of any treatment they have finished with you and you become 'de-listed' from the queue list. If you WISELY wish to have a regular check-up with them, you have to contact them immediately after your last checkup or treatment and ask to be 'listed.' You then have to queue approx. 24 months (prev. 12 months) & they will automatically contact you with an appointment time & date. . The actual dental treatment they provide is good! If you have toothache or need emergency treatment, no problem, they will treat you BUT on completion you are considered to have been treated/finished with and you drop off the 'list/queue' and THE ONUS IS ON YOU TO ASK TO BE PUT BACK ON THE QUEUE/LIST.......
